Echoes from beyond

I saw him yet again

His whisky breath and swollen eyes

And he still had the bottle in his hand

They said it would make him numb

But for him it was twice the pain

There he sat at the same old place

He even offered her a drink

And she just watched silently

Slurry voice telling tales of failures

Of love lost and loneliness

Yet again, he shouted out loud

Dragging his feet Oh, so close

Keeping his head on the stone

And he apologized one more time

And again, promised to bring her flowers

The rustling leaves and cold stone woke him

And on the stone was written

“In God’s care. Alice”

Silence of past, whispers of present

A numb agony of eternity

Smiles and ripples of pain

Lost and found again

Wearing mask of a saint

Redemption is for you!!

Broken hearts, healed wounds

An ailing ecstasy

Gazing through yesterday

Picking broken pieces

Faint smile, open palm

Forgiveness is all mine!!

Fragrance and passion lingers

Time and pain passes

Cold waves of remorse

Caught in a vanity fair

Giving in and giving up

Lights dying out fast

And yet love still remains!!

No good no bad

So near yet so far
So affectionate yet so arrogant
So arrogant yet so romantic
So passionate yet so angry
So angry yet so caring
So proud yet so true
So bold yet so shy
So rude yet so cool
So heartless yet so faithful
So strong yet so soft
So humorous yet so abusive
So cheerful yet so unpredictable
So impressive yet so docile
So patient yet so hostile
So difficult yet so easy
Living with and without you :)

Random thoughts

Like a flower that has lost all scent
Like the rivers that have run dry
Like the barren soil awaiting the first dew
Here we have come to a stand still

A love that have lost all charm
Feelings faded and gone with time
The passion, the craze, the pain
All wiped and clean as a slate

Yet here we are standing
You and I looking like fools
Blaming and finding fault
With fake smile and a broken heart

Don't know what you feel baby
But guess its time for a deal
A love that has lost its beauty
And you and I making futile attempts

Yet I feel and u feel
The love once so strong and so true
Now lost and gone forever
Buried in the sands of time!!

Faces among the Crowd

Many a faces I see everyday

Not knowing where they're heading for

Many stories behind the faces

Never been asked and never been told

Caught in the daily struggles called "life"

With no time and love to spare

Eyes filled with sadness, guilt and dreams

Long is the journey still

 Love, friendship all along

The journey never hard to endure

Each stride for a better morrow

And dreams tucked away - oh so safe!!

Who pays heed behind it all?

Eyes ever so moist; A heart ever so fragile

Just a smile is all it takes

Or a loving word perhaps

Many a faces lost in the crowd

Many a story yet to be told!!
